Day 3 in Rome! Our last day. Our flight is for 5Pm so we did not waste our time.. we got up and went early to The Vatican Museum. The first picture is of the Forum, it is one of my favorites. The next one is me and sleeping Vinny at the Vatican Museum with St. Peters Basilica in the background. This is one of the places that you must visit while in Rome. There is so much history here and you must see the Sistine Chapel for yourself. It is a beautiful place. You are not allowed to take pictures of the chapel so you just sit and enjoy it.


















The last picture is one done by Raphael. It is not the best picture, sometimes they are hard to take in the museums, with the lighting that they use and the otherwise darkness of the rooms. Not to mention the crowds; there is usually some live art in there too. (heads in the lower rh corner) We really enjoyed our time in Rome, we were able to do most of the things we wanted to. We made it to the airport early and so we were able to sit down and enjoy a good meal. Strange that the airport would have pretty good food. Watch for the next adventure to Florence!
